About This Mod

This file replaces the five Vitaars found in the game.

I reorganized the patch with a new set of tools, so all files are now in daimod format. It is the same mod, only updated for compatibility with new vehicles.

If there is no problem, the mod is complete - I got Vitar Arishok and Blightwasp. Also, Ehamloptiran, the great creator of the toolkit, was kind enough to edit the colors of the two bodies and show me how to make it voodoo. (He also let me share files he'd colored for me. The result is these options. Deathroot (in my opinion, dense) has a purple variant, Deepstalker - blue, and after he explained everything to me (once again), I was able to edit Alishok to have a blue variant.


Options for individual vital organs have also been added. All files are packed together, but each vitaar has been fixed separately. You can combine them if you only need one or two. This zip contains additional color patches. There's also a patch that replaces all the patches I've made.


The mod is very patchy, so please let me know if you have any problems. Otherwise, this mod is completely ready.




I like the concept of kunari and vitals, but most of the vitals you get in the game seem to be covered in mud.


This mod replaces five of them: rushvine, deathroot, deepstalker, elfsnake, and wyvern (wyvern and gurgut share files, so they are likely to be replaced as well. FYI, they won't appear on Iron Bull - he has his own textures - but I think they'll appear on Quizzie's men. Some of them are quite feminine.


Because of the way Vitale works in the game, the colors are determined by a separate file. I've heard that it's editable, but it's a little tricky, and I haven't tried it yet. At the moment, the colors of the original design determine the colors of the new design.


All vital values in the same group share a common design. The type (sharp, intense, etc.) determines which colors are used and which parts of the design are presented, but in general the original design will be the same for everyone. All of them can be purchased at Haven, Skyhold and Val Royo, but the level requirements remain the same.
