About This Mod

This mod provides complete control over the vehicle's systems: headlights, power supply, engine, interior lighting, crystal body, doors, windows, hood, trunk and spoiler. It also preserves the state of these elements when the player exits the machine. Adjustable headlights, 3 states of police lights and more!

This mod is incompatible with Enhanced Police Lights System because the mod of police lights is contained in EVS-fashion.

Unlock the full potential of CrystalCoat colors by setting custom saturation and brightness settings. To learn more about the HSB color system used in CrystalCoat, you can read this.

FASHION SETTINGS

This mod provides some customizations that will change your experience depending on your preferences. Open the menu and click on "Fashion Settings", then find the name of the fashion and change the settings to your liking. Settings will be saved after the game is restarted.

You can synchronize the headlights/utility lights with the daytime hours and adjust the on and off times.

You can also adjust the headlights, taillights, reversing lights, flashing lights, lights and interior lighting with a wide range of settings: color, sequence, delay, intensity, vehicle type...

The rear spoiler can be synchronized with the power state, and the speed at which it is deployed and removed can be set or disabled.

Define the lights that will be colored with Crystal Coat colors. You can leave this feature turned on when you exit.

Include police siren for motorcycles. You can choose to keep the siren on when quitting for the player and for the NPC.

Turning off the power state causes the headlights to temporarily turn off.

Re-enabling the power/engine state will disable the headlights from being temporarily turned off.

Some vehicles with sliding doors cannot operate the windows when the doors are open.

These include: Quadra Type-66 (all variants), Herrera Riptide GT2.

During story missions, when you play as a passenger in a car, you can close your own window at any time. You can also operate your door if you are a passenger in the vehicle with a sliding door.

To change the key binding

Key bindings are defined in: "\\\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\input\Enhanced Vehicle System.xml".

At the bottom of the file there are "<mapping>" entries with keyboard/device buttons.

You can install anything you want. You must select controls or combinations that are not yet used in the context of driving.

You can also remove some key bindings by simply removing the "<mapping>" entry from the file.

If you want to replace the default controls, see the list of supported names.

Depending on the keyboard shortcuts you have defined, you can use other vehicle controls, even if this combination is not used in the base game.

I want to create a translation for this fashion

Great! If you want to get involved and make this mod support the new language, you can easily do it by following this guide.

The mod already contains English and French.

I want to create a customization package for my users

Creating a customization package can be useful if you are creating a collection of mods that will be used by many users, and want to customize the default mod settings for all users. Of course, your users will still be able to set the settings they want, but the settings will override the default mode settings.

You can follow this guide.

Some bugs that I found in v2.1 and that I fixed with my mod

"The NPC police coming out of the car to arrest V are now always keeping the headlights on. The horn may remain on or off depending on the setting you choose. Same for V.

- NPC police officers coming out of the car to arrest V now turn on the red side-banner lights. The behavior is the same as that of V.

- When V exits the police car, the side banner now retains the same color without switching for no reason.

- When the level of the wanted persons drops to zero and V is behind the wheel of the police car with the headlights/sirens on, the headlights/sirens of the car keep their current state and not turn off by the game.

- All NPC vehicles now have dashboard screens on.

Known Issues

· When V exits the vehicle with the headlights on, they are switched off and on again.

- When V exits the car with the headlights on, the visual effect of the beam on the walls ceases. Only the headlights and passing light on the ground will be visible. Except for some vehicles such as the Chevillon Emperor 720 NCPD Ironclad or Mizutani Shion Nomad. At this time, I couldn't find a way to reverse this behavior, as it seems to be hard-coded into the game's native code. I'm still looking for a solution.

- Vehicle introductory/introductory sound effects continue to play as normal regardless of what you do.

- Due to technical limitations, the mod uses camera events to update headlights. You may notice a high beam flash when V gets into the vehicle and starts the engine. If you don't keep the camera completely still, it won't bother you.

- When V is in the car, you save the game and exit it. Then you load the game and see that the vehicle system is broken. Just get out of the car to solve the problem.

· User intensity is often canceled by the next acceleration or deceleration event. Custom intensity is mainly designed to be used in a static context (outside the car to take screenshots or video).

· When a custom color is set for the rear lights, the optical units (plastic mesh) may not completely update their new color until the next braking event.

- When using a custom color for the rear lights or flashing lights, RGB may not determine the desired color because the default color appears to blend with the custom color. For example, setting the color to blue may result in a green color, because the default color for flashing is orange.
