This mod is now out of date. hgyi56 was kind enough to make the low volume version as well as the full mute version. Works with Update 2.1.

If you're tired of having too loud TVs and ads, turn down the volume so you can hear yourself. There is also a version with a 50% volume reduction if you want to keep immersion in the game without a headache.


In addition to muting the game's news volume, Gillean and Tawfik are also muted during the game's download screens. (Yes, I know he is Arif Iqbal in the game, but Towfiq is what sound files are called so.....) I've watched hundreds of audio files, but I can't find any that relate to clips from Just Ads or Milfgaard's moan. If anyone can find them, I'll add them to the fashion.


I love this game. Beautiful looking, but all this screaming advertising and high-profile news bulletins keep me from getting into the game. I'm pretty sure there are a few other people who have a headache from all this.
