About This Mod

What settings does this include and do they actually work (master file)?

Adds anti-aliasing option to graphics settings... For this there are 2 options, medium and high...

Adds "Amazing" crowd density to gameplay settings... As far as I can tell, it seems to work, since it causes the NPC flicker when set to this value (only in photo mode) along with my DistanceBoost ini tweet, while "High" setting does not have this problem... By the way, I don't have this problem at all without my ini tweet... Oh, and I think the NPC has gotten bigger... Although I didn't do any counts...

Adds "Slow HDD Mode" setting to gameplay... According to my tests, I see no difference... I think this setting does nothing else... It is also reset to "Off" every time you close the game... If you have a really slow hard drive, you can try it... After additional testing it seems to have an effect, but since it is reset every time you close the game, it sucks a little... lol

Changes dynamic resolution scaling settings in graphics options... Sets the minimum target FPS to 1 instead of 10, and reduces the lower value for the maximum and minimum resolution sliders to 25% (default is 50%)... Both sliders still have a maximum value of 100% (increasing this value, it seems, did nothing)... This could potentially help people who previously could not run the game, although of course with much lower visual accuracy than is generally considered acceptable... lol... As a small test I reduced the sliders to a minimum of 10% and launched a benchmark locked at 10% of 1080p (with FSR upskilling, and yes, it looks terrible, but I got an average of 107.6FPS on RX 480)... Added screenshot of benchmark results to images...lol

Unlocked the setting of Ultra Global Illumination Range graphics (as well as High, which is used in the game by default), which is pretty cool... It seems that some lights emit more light (for example, a campfire on screenshots), and it noticeably improves all GI at large distances for quite a lot... It also removes a lot of noise (even on light reflections)... Comparing screenshots with slider (1080p, mostly high settings, FSR Quality w/50% Sharpening, medium AO and Subsurface Scattering, no "post-processing" effects like DoF or Motion Blur)... High GI Range on the left, Ultra on the right... Also, it doesn't seem to have much effect on performance... Although I didn't do any benchmarks... Oh, and I tried to add lower settings, but they didn't seem to give anything, so I removed them (also tried to add settings psycho)... The High and Ultra settings were already in the file, just the settings themselves were hidden in the game... I assume that it will have no effect on path tracing, and it may not have much, if any, effect on normal ray tracing...

The version of "Psycho" does all this, plus increases the maximum settings of almost all the graphics options to at least Ultra (most to Psycho), and also decreases the minimum settings for some options... This is the version I use and recommend...

Installation:

Unpack to CP77 installation main folder (not sure if Vortex will work, but I doubt... Also, I'm sure that the REDMod version will not be possible using this configuration file)

Some settings of "Psycho" (only in the version of "Psycho") may not work, and if they do not work, then the game will use the last option that worked... So I advise you to first set everything you want to try on "Psycho", on "Ultra" and click on "Apply", then set everything on "Psycho" and apply again... Thus, they will at least be on "Ultra", even if the "Psycho" option does not work for this particular setting (of my tests at the moment, I'm pretty sure that all the "Ultra" settings work)... I'm still running tests for the Psycho settings, but I think they all work... I'm just not 100% sure in some (especially in RT Lighting, since I can not check it)... If you notice that some configuration is not working, please let me know in the comments or bug report...

Uninstall:

Delete the options.json file from the [CP77>r6>config>settings>platform>pc] folder, and then restore the backup (or check the game files in GOG/Steam/Epic).
