Less tattoos

This mod aims to hide IMHO's excessive, strange or sometimes ridiculous tattoos on various NPCs.

What he doesn't do:

It does not remove all tattoos, nor is it intended to remove all tattoos in the game.

How it works:

The mod applies changes at run time, allowing you to make reversible changes dynamically, purposefully, and on the fly.

This allows you to turn it on or off without restarting the game application or manipulating the mode setting.

In addition, this approach allows you to easily customize the mod to your needs.

It does not use game file substitutes to avoid the various problems that may arise with this approach.

Because the method used to change appearance at runtime has some limitations, some NPCs defined in the game may not support it out of the box.

This depends solely on the specific design of the NPC in the game files.

Fortunately, this mod covers almost all the NPCs that I currently find "tattooed," so to speak.

The mod is customizable, meaning you can exclude certain characters from the mod control or their appearance if you don't like the changes (please see the "Advanced Settings" spoiler below).

And, of course, you can easily turn the mod on or off at any time.

How to use:

Just install it and start.

If you want to disable it, you can do so in the fashion window in CET overlay or in the Native Settings user interface.

The mod should appear under the name Tattoo Cleanup in CET and Native Settings.

Supported versions:

The game is v1.63 - 2.1+ with the corresponding version of Cyber Engine Tweaks (CET).

Earlier versions of the game have not been tested.

CET 1.29.0 is not supported due to numerous problems in this version.

CET 1.30.0 is not supported due to problems in this version.

Additional compatibility information:

Developed and tested on v1.63.

It will likely work with older versions of the game, such as 1.31 and above, but since it has not been fully tested on older versions, it is not officially supported.

Because a mod follows the built-in NPC definitions, it may not detect changes made by other mods, such as custom NPCs or custom NPCs.

In addition, because the mod manipulates the appearance of NPCs in the game, it can interfere with other mods that make custom changes to the built-in NPCs.

Install or update:

manually:

- download the zip archive and unpack

- drop the uncompressed bin folder into the "[your game provider installation folder]\Cyberpunk 2077" folder. Allow files to be overwritten if necessary.
