About This Mod

It didn't bother you when you found out that the new unique version of Mantis Blade in version 2.0 was just... normal? Well, this mod is supposed to fix it.


MaxTac Mantis Blades are now an iconic cyber-building site, and under this status they have received a small buff (along with an increase in the cost of humanity). The MaxTac blades have a built-in damage bonus over the standard Mantis blades, as well as a more powerful attribute damage bonus (maximum damage bonus of 20%, not +10%). There are also two special abilities to choose from.


One of them gives an advantage to Slice 'Em Up's gun mod by making enemies more susceptible to finishers for seconds after killing. Another gives the cult ability of Gwynblidd's sword, dealing additional damage to high-threat enemies and providing guaranteed critical strikes after multiple kills or at critical health. However, both versions cannot be installed at the same time.


An additional file is now available that allows you to return the color of the standard Mantis Blades to the MaxTac Blades if you prefer this style.


REDMod does not have additional dependencies, but requires REDMod (this is a free DLC for Cyberpunk 2077). However, if you are using something that requires Redscript, you will need RED4ext or cybercmd to fix compatibility issues between them and REDMod.


The TweakXL version requires TweakXL and all its dependencies.


Not required at all, but I recommend using it with Faster Cyber Arms and/or Cyberware Attack Speed Fix from my personal experience.


Installation: Installing both REDMod and TweakXL is simple: simply unzip the file and drag it to the Cyberpunk 2077 directory. The uninstallation is also simple - delete the file from the Mods folder in the Cyberpunk directory and it will disappear. Only one main file is installed, so choose which option you want and whether you use REDMod or TweakXL.
