About This Mod

Made a small mod that adjusts the handling of the car. I was inspired when I tried to "ride like you stole it" and just made a mod that changed the handling. I changed the behavior of cars and motorcycles the way I imagined CP2077 before I played it. And I didn't want to copy the GTA or other open world games, imho, it has to be something of its own. So I just tried to fix something that annoyed me during the game.


Edit: Since I use Cyber Vehicle Overhaul mod and think it really contributes to the feel of vehicles, I made another version that should be balanced if you use it with CVO.


What I was trying to fix:

slightly floating sensations and sponge springs when moving over obstacles

steering, which feels a little bit like you're turning around an imaginary axis in the center of the vehicle

Motorcycles don't have this "turning" feeling

vehicles feel too arcade (my taste)


If you take a little tweet from ini, you'll notice that the experience of driving has changed: cars have become more down-to-earth, slightly heavier at cornering, and the experience of riding a bike has also changed. When driving at high speeds, the car seems a little faster, and sometimes you have to brake if the turn is too steep.


At first, I didn’t really like the changed behavior, but it stuck, and now I can’t live without it. Everyone who tried it on my computer liked it, so I thought why not share it, maybe someone else would like it too.


Installation / Uninstallation:

Simply extract the downloaded file to the root folder of Cyberpunk, it contains the appropriate structure of subfolders. If you want to remove it, you will find it in the "engine\config\platform\pc" subfolder of your CP2077 installation. Simply delete the file "vhdr1ve.ini" from there.
