NVHM-TVHM Area Scaling

This mod makes all areas and side missions progressively higher depending on your progress through the main mission in normal mode and in TVHM mode. The level limits for DLC are removed, so they can be played at any time during NVHM/TVHM, and they will also increase based on progress in the main story of the game.

This means that you can, for example, go back and get the Hornet at 18th level. Or start Little Tina DLC at 8th level, complete a couple of missions before returning to the main game and return to finish the DLC at 28th level. Or fend the snowman over and over and over and over again. Unlike UVHM (or the "Level 1 UVHM" fashion), zones/missions will not always match your level exactly (but are close enough if you keep up with the main plot). However, this mode does not change anything in the usual and TVC-passing and their balance.

Installation and Compatibility

Use BLCMM to install NVHM-TVHM Area Scaling:

After recent updates, BLCMM can no longer customize game files for mods. So you have to do the Hexadite manually, for example, with Cody's Hex Multitool.  

Open NT-AreaScaling.blcm in BLCMM (or use File > Import mod file(s) if you want to merge it with other mods).

In BLCMM > File > Save as: select "Open BL2 Binaries Dir" and save it with any name (for example, mymods.txt).

Start the game and go to the main menu with "New Game", "Choose a character", etc.

Press "Esc" to go to the main menu and say "Press any key to continue" (this step may not be necessary, depending on your platform).

Open the console (using the key you selected when setting up the game's mod files in BLCMM) and type, for example, "exec mymods.txt".

Close the console and you're done.
