About This Mod

Dillas Black Myth Wukong - AMD CAS and color repainting

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Added unsharp, lilium__sdr_trc_fix, colourfulness, lightroom, and amd cas.

Almost no loss of fps/performance.

Color reshade is designed for 8-bit monitors without HDR.

If your game is gray and milky white, look at the screenshots, please.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Playing this game on a 60Hz monitor, the game should be colored and probably no need to repaint!

This solution is made for 144 hz monitors using standard monitor mode, where some games are gray and have no colors, perhaps the monitor icc profile is ignored?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ABOUT USING THIS IN A MULTIPLAYER:

I played a few multiplayers with this repaint file and I wasn't banned!

But if they change their mind and start banning reshade users.

I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BAN!

YOU DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK, THANK YOU.

You must use the standard version of reshade!

Note about downloading reshade:

Do not download a version with full add-on support.

Download the version without full add-ons support, because,

the one you can download with limited addon support, but is signed to be allowed in multiplayer games and the other

with full add-on support and no depth buffer lock for offline games, it is likely to be banned in online games.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Description: Select the repainting preset V1, V2 or V3 to use in the game, and then if you are going to use AMD FSR in the game, select the render quality settings 100.

Some areas of the game are too bright, also known as white crush. We will use a custom shader, liliums SDR and HDR fix. SDR fix for 8-bit monitor and HDR fix for 10-bit monitor. This preset is created with SDR fix, and if you have a 10-bit monitor, replace the SDR. shader with an HDR. shader.

For V3* only Use lilium__sdr_trc_fix.fx and use it as the second shader at the top of the reshade shader list, below the unsharp shader. If you place the sdr shader above the unsharp shader, the frame becomes slightly too bright.

Update: Reshade version 6.0.1 adds lilium shaders so you don't have to download them manually. Presets V2, V3 and V4 have been updated.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reshade V1 is the one I use to play the game

More color and sharpness:

1st Lilium__sdr_trc_fix.fx: A gamma-correcting shader to eliminate black spots

2nd Colourfulness: high color increase at 0.96, adjust if you like more or less color

3rd Lightroom: to reduce the red color using the red exposure value -0.900

4th AMD CAS: sharpen textures

Reshade V2

Creator preset, to create new recolor presets:

1st Unsharp: removing vignette shadows, textures look different, better

2nd Lilium__sdr_trc_fix.fx: A shader that corrects the gamma to eliminate black spots

3rd Colourfulness: large color increase at 0.96, adjust if you like more or less color

4th Lightroom: to reduce the red color using the red exposure value -0.900

5th AMD CAS: sharpen texture

6th After before: compare left and right sides, with line in the middle

Same preset as in V2 file above, but effects are turned off and on in one frame!

Note* You can reset used shader effects and put new effects between "before and after" shaders in the shader list to compare on and off effects in the same frame with a red line in the middle. On the left the effects are turned off and on the right.

Reshade V3

Less shadows, more color and sharpness:

1st Unsharp: removing vignette shadows and texture look different, better

2nd Lilium__sdr_trc_fix.fx: A shader that corrects the gamma to eliminate black spots

3rd Colourfulness: increase color at 0.96, adjust if you like more or less color

4th Lightroom: reduce the red color of the glow by the red exposure minus -0.900

Turn off Lightroom if you don't like it, but keep in mind that it fixes red glow and red light around places with lots of fire

5th AMD CAS: sharpen textures

A very important warning: if you are in an area where everything is glowing and repainting increases glowing, turn off repainting while you are in that area.

Reshade V4

sharpen only:

1st AMD CAS: sharpen textures

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Screenshots:

1st set of V1 screenshots:

Resolution = 1080p

Reshade V1 = On

FSR = Enabled for Quality

SDR gamma fix shader = Off

2nd set of V2 screenshots:

Resolution = 1080p

Reshade V2 = On

FSR = Enabled for Quality

SDR gamma fix shader = Off

3rd set of V3 screenshots:

Resolution = 1080p

Reshade V3 = On

FSR = Enabled for Quality

SDR gamma fix Shader = On

HDR. and SDR. shader Lilium's gamma fix explained for 8 and 10-bit monitors:

Lilium's SDR. shader should be second in the list, as you can see in the picture below. Without a blur effect, it may be at the top of the list.

For a 10-bit HDR. monitor, you should use Lilium's black HDR. patch, not Lilium's SDR. gamma patch for an 8-bit monitor!

8-bit Monitor = SDR gamma fix

10-Bit Monitor = HDR. Gamma Fix

Here is a video about the HDR. gamma correction, the light can be seen at 4 minutes 7 seconds:

Install: Copy the files to the folder where you play \Steam\steamapps\common\BlackMythWukong\b1\Binaries\Win64 Check if your folder is different. You can download all 4 preinstalled files and switch between them in the game. This way you can choose the one you like best. For best results, either V1 or V3 is recommended.

When installing Reshade in the game folder, click the unselect all button, and then click select all shader.

Recommended Reshade settings: Load only the enabled effects in the settings menu and use the performance mode.

Keyboard Shortcuts:

Pos1: the standard hotkey for enabling the game's rebuild menu.

Insert: on/off overflow hot key to compare difference

Printing: for screenshots that will be in the game folder

Page Up: Reload ini File

Page Down: Turn performance mode on or off

End: to select the next preset

Recommended graphics settings:

Make the most of a good PC. On a typical PC, use the recommended settings, but use low post-processing to disable depth of field.

Window Mode: Full Screen

Resolution: Maximum

Render Scale: 100%

Vsync: On

Maximum frames per second: 60

Monitor Calibration: Gamma Standard 50

AMD FSR: Enabled, Render Quality 100

Note*: Always use full screen mode for maximum performance. In window or full screen mode, performance will be slower.

If your computer makes a lot of noise while you're playing, just use the fps 60 limit or turn on vsync.

When using AMD FSR, the graphics quality will decrease slightly, but the frame rate will increase.

If FSR is enabled, the game can get a pixelated, shuffled look, so I recommend using a 100 rendering quality.

ENGINE INI IS STILL BEING TESTED!!! Custom engine ini for better cam movement:

Here's my custom engine ini for smoother camera movement, fog removal and vignette: https://pastebin.com/dgdt4Zg2.

All UE5 commands were compiled from comments on nexus and reddit. Two engine ini commands are from Performance mode, and all other commands are from the user comment in the unsharp mod section. Thank you very much messiahgov. The fog and atmosphere are added independently.
