About This Mod
This mod contains daggers, short swords, staff and sticks that work as shields, giving an increase to AC instead of attacks. There is also a Walking Staff that any character can keep in a free hand without shield proficiency, but it does not give an increase to AC.
Daggers, shortboards and sticks use conventional dual-possession animations, so they behave well.
The staff uses an animation of the shield, which looks somewhat clumsy.
To make the staff visible without weapons, you also need to use the Visible Shields mod. (Daggers and swords don’t need one.)
How to get
The items can be found in a cartilage chest in a room next to the Twilight Heart Trap in the tutorial.
For existing characters, you can summon a fresh copy of the chest using Tutorial Chest Summoning.
If you prefer items to be added to merchants rather than used from a chest, there is a mod for that.
