About This Mod

This mod was created out of interest and for educational purposes. I included all the available data and applied the modding methods I learned. Judging by my tests, fashion works as intended. If there are any serious problems, please let me know. Although I will do my best to solve them, I cannot guarantee that I will have the time or experience to solve every problem. For installation I recommend to use BG3 Mod Manager.

Overview:

The Sarewok Armor Set has been added to the Learning Chest and its drop list.

If you don't want to get them from these two sources, you can use any method that calls the UUID to get them:

"dea74e9c-3709-4db0-a3e6-085404200d7d",--Sarevok's Wretched Armor

"9ee1e66d-fb6e-4584-b975-2764c2bbe422",--Sarevok's Gloves

"09d6e23d-388c-48d1-b8b4-e4818f1608a5",--Sarevok's Boots

"099bd277-adf1-4ae1-b678-4027acaf3508",--Sarevok's Horned Helmet

Segmented unlocking of equipment features:

Additional SarevokSet - Growth file allows unlocking the effects of the equipped segments depending on the level of the equipped character. Most passive effects will have a visible gain icon when they are active. It should be downloaded after the main mode file and before the optional hardware type files. Due to some logical problems, when you put on your shoes, the passive effect of "Aura Kill" will be disabled by default. It is recommended to switch the passive skill after reaching the level of kill Aura unlock. If you reset your level when the Murder Aura was activated, please switch your passive skill again after raising your level to activate the Murder Aura.

Additionally, if you choose to install the growth file or remove it halfway, you will need to re-equip all items from this fashion after rebooting the save to ensure that passive skills work properly according to the file you have selected.

The following are the unlock levels for passive skills:

Known Issues:

- In the Deathbringer Assault prep phase, if you hold a universal weapon in one hand, it is held in the left hand, raising an empty right hand; the original Divine Sentence prep animation may cause the character to raise the left hand holding the weapon, but using a modified Divine Sentence leads to the same problem. I have not yet identified the root cause of this phenomenon and will correct it when I find a problem in the future.

- Some effects may cause invisible parts to have outlines. It is recommended that you use it with mods that reduce the appearance of effects, or use older versions of edited models.

- In rare cases, armor suddenly appears with bloodstains. I am currently unable to determine if this is due to a shader or some other problem.

"The only information in the game was about Sarewok's helmet and armor, so I added the rest of the equipment. I am not sure that the qualities and skills I have chosen are the most appropriate.

- I have merged the elements into the existing list. This means that when you defeat Sarewok, you will be able to get the original version of Sarewok's Horned Helmet. The elements have the same effects, but differ slightly in color schemes. If you want to get a set from the Sarevok drop list only and don't want the original helmet to appear in the drop list, please install the Immersive file from the Miscellaneous section (this file will overwrite the Sarevok drop list forcibly, which may conflict with other mods using the same drop list).Ā Because I couldn't find a way to overwrite the treasure table.

- I used data from the NPC model. Now all races based on human body types 1/2/3/4 and Dwarf body types 1/2 can correctly display armor.Ā The Dragon-born's neck may experience some trimming problems. ensuring compatibility with the male body type 4 above all. While other characters with this type of physique can work, I haven't fully tested them. In my tests, the male Dragonborn also displayed objects correctly.

"I modified Sarewok's 'Herald of Death' attack spell to make it more user-friendly for players, since its original version was adapted for boss battles. The spell trigger acts as a passive armor effect, but can be deactivated if desired.Ā Although I have not yet mastered the skill animation modification, I have made sure that the animations are reproduced correctly when a male 4 with a large sword.

- Due to certain limitations, I couldn't find the exact texture settings, so I had to replace the original texture with an overlay for this fashion. As a result, Sarewok's Horned Helmet from the original game could not access the default texture. This also leads to the following point.

- If you hide the shoulder pads, Human Body Type 4 will lose its original physics. When you hide your shoulder pads, all armor on all types of build will follow effects caused by incomplete physics or the absence of the physics file you selected.
