About This Mod

I'm not the creator of this mission, I just fixed the basic bugs in the original Bidass fashion and added some new features. All credit goes to Bidass for creating this amazing work.

Using AI behaviors such as LAMBS or VCOM will make the mission very difficult. This is not provided for and should not be used unless you want to get a very complex test.


Dynamic Civil War is a one-player scenario (created by Bidass) involving counterinsurgency operations (COIN).

You lead a five-man team into rebel territory.

The goal is simple: to find and kill an enemy commander. But this is no easy task.

Its location, location and size of the enemy squad, the behavior of civilians and much more is randomly generated.


Finding an enemy commander

You can find them by asking local chiefs and enemy officers.

1. some local village chiefs know where the enemy commander is hiding. Some of them will immediately tell you where they are, but most will not cooperate so easily. In this case, you need to convince them. You can bribe them or use harder methods to get what you need. ......


2. at the beginning of the mission, the enemy officers hide. As new villages are captured, they will mobilize. Once the headquarters is located, they can be tracked down, neutralized, and interrogated.


Hearts and Minds.

Finding commandos is time-consuming and labor-intensive. The initial five-man squad will not be enough to achieve the goal. Political points (PPs, in-game currency) are needed to win support and improve relations with the local population.


PP can be earned in the following ways

Victory over the enemy

Destruction of enemy ammunition depots

Destroying enemy mortars

Defending your village from enemy attacks

Counter-improvised explosive device neutralization

Search for armed civilians

Killing or injuring civilians

Civilian casualties from the enemy (you won't feel safe with your troops)

Death (reborn on home base)

Bribing a local village chief

Request for assistance (helicopter transport, ammunition dumping, aerial reconnaissance, transport dumping, outpost construction, CAS)

Recruitment of local guerrillas

Recruit friendly soldiers (deploy them in "safe" positions)

Other functions.

"The enemy commander will run away if you get close enough to shoot him (within 500m). If you run far enough, he'll be reborn somewhere else.


"Some enemies disguise themselves as civilians, and some civilians may become allies during battle.


"Non-union villages can help insurgents by hiding munitions caches or by ambushing buildings. Enemies can punish villagers who are friends with allies by firing mortars at them.


"If the enemy attack cannot be prevented, the village becomes an enemy stronghold. Enemy bastions are defended by large numbers of soldiers and tanks (Note: tanks in enemy bastions appear regardless of the initial value of the "number of tanks" parameter).

Current issues.

- The script automatically analyzes the selected faction and uses units of this faction. However, if no suitable units are found for a particular faction, then NATO or CSAT units will be spawned.


- In addition, due to the wide variety of units in some large mod groups, scripts sometimes generate irrelevant units (e.g. divers in a patrol), which disrupts diving. To solve this problem, some popular mods' faction rosters can be "fixed" to prevent them from generating completely random units.


- Units in villages sometimes do not sleep. Eventually, they will appear, but if they are already in the village, they may appear literally next to you. Therefore, do not hurry to go on long journeys.
