HeartofDarkness is a project dedicated to Africa from the 1970s to the 1990s that uses multiple creative powers in an attempt to uncover conflicts between a number of original countries mentioned in the ArmAseries series, notably Lombacca and Bocano. Heart of Darkness is currently scheduled to focus on two major conflicts: the Bocano Civil War 1975-1997 and the Lombakkan Civil War 1981-1992.

Heart ofDarkness uses Global Mobilization from Vertexmacht and The Free World Armoury from TepacheLoco. Both of these games are very important for Heart of Darkness, and I am immensely grateful to them for their fantastic work.

Factions

Popular Movement for the Liberation of Bocano - [OPFOR]

The Popular Movement for the Liberation of Bocano (MNLF), founded in 1957, is led by Antonio Correia, a lawyer with a Portuguese education. They seek to establish a communist regime in Bocano and actively oppose the Rassemblement des Deputies Populaires de Bocano and the Bocano Liberation Front. MPLB occupies the north of Bocano and in recent years has received significant material support from the Soviet Union, the Warsaw Pact countries and Cuba.

Despite being the smallest participant in the Bocano civil war, the IPL is the most well equipped and trained - equipped with advanced weapons supplied by the Allies.

The Bocano Bowling Union - [INDEP]

The Bocano People's Union (UnibadosPovos deBocano), founded in 1954, is headed by Sebastiao Duarte, a Portuguese-educated teacher. Although the UPB was the largest participant in the civil war, in the early years it was the most poorly equipped, relying on assembled or abandoned equipment from Portugal and the MPLB.

Acting as an infantry guerrilla army, the UBP occupied the central and eastern Bocano regions, receiving material support from China, Zaire, Yugoslavia, South Africa, West Germany and the United States.
