About This Mod

Definition

This October mod adds a zombie half-life from the universe. It is based on the zombie mode and alien mode created by Maxjoiner (see credits section for details). It is designed to be played in Half-Life2: echo resonant cascade. I recommend you play Half-Life2: an unforgettable scenario from First Aid that works perfectly as a demonstration of this mode using zombie mode.


Features

Zombie units of Half Life 2 (compatible with Zeus and the editor), zombies can be found in separate categories, but they are hostile to all.

For zombies, special sounds for each type of zombie. For example, zombies have their own voices.

Here are some zombie skins that were not in the original game to add a bit of variety to the enemy. (For example, Zombified elite or Citizen Zombies).

The classic head club is like an npc with its special sounds and special animation. This headcrab and future headcrab are based on facehugger from Max_Alien mode. The head club can be categorized as a zombie, and is hostile to everyone (except zombies, of course).

Headcrab and Resurrection scenario. If a unit gets a "head injury", you have 30 seconds to escape until the unit with a "head injury" turns into a zombie. If you use Half-Life2, you get better results: the echo of the resonant cascade in this mode, but the reverb block fits into the "head cut" block.

Known Issues / Conflicts with Other Modes

Even if you turn on the device using the remote control, Zevo will not hear zombie sounds and head bumps. Temporary fix: use Achilles mode to control the device as a remote control, not a player.

This mode is incompatible with Max_Zombies and Max_Alien (script errors).

This mode is incompatible with Ravage and Universal Uniform (class inheritance error). This zombie will be dressed like a civilian.

This mode is not compatible with the ACE3 medical module (supplied with ace). Temporary fix: disable ACE3 medical module if necessary.
