About This Mod

Mod allows the AI to favor buying new troops and upgrading them to a specific army. What it gives - "Army Composition" allows the lords to buy and recruit troops based on their ideal army composition. This is the main batch template function scheduled by TW. Planned functions . Today, these formulations are based on culture. Each squad is the sum of the desired types of troops, which is always 100%. In principle, this works according to the following assumptions: highly desirable: the types of troops that are currently absent in the Lord's army. Desired: The types of troops that can be upgraded over the next three upgrades to the types of troops that the Lord currently lacks. Neutral: A type of army that is particularly undesirable, but whose weapons make up the ideal part of the Lord's army. Unwanted: A type of soldier who is not part of the Lord's ideal army. This means that the lord will buy and improve those types of troops that are currently lacking in the ideal composition. This does not guarantee that the army will have a certain composition, as there are other factors: what troops are available; lack of funds to purchase desired troops/upgrades; being in another cultural region (desired troops may be unavailable/unused); some unforeseen factors. So the goal of this fashion is to guide AI toward these configurations, not guarantee them. Does it work with other mods or saves? It can be added/added to saves. This mod will become part of Calraldia Expanded: This mod will be included in the next Calraldia Expanded update: Kingdoms in the next Army Compositions update will work with all mods that change the vanilla tree of armies. Fashions that add extra trees to armies or cultures will also work, but not exclusively. Defined X mods and X new cultures → vanilla behavior by default. There will be no failures. The formulations are culturally based and are evaluated based on the vanilla wood of the troops. Note that some types of troops, such as heavy cavalry, are difficult to obtain. As shown below, 30 per cent of the members of the force are allocated to heavy cavalry. This is a fairly high percentage for the less common troop type (NOBLE), and it will take time to reach that level. A strength of 0 means that the type of troops is not desirable. The undesirable type has a strong negative effect on the type selected. (Imperator: Icons from the Roman forum) Troop types Two-handed ax: infantry with two-handed axes, swords or clubs: infantry with stacks of spears;* light infantry: other close infantry of level 3 and below; heavy infantry: other close infantry of level 4 and above: all infantry with bows or crossbows. Level 5 and above: mounted archers: mounted soldiers with bows or crossbows; mounted skirmishers: light cavalry: cavalry other than light, not noble; heavy cavalry: heavy cavalry: near cavalry of nobles. * This was prepared with regard to Calraldia Expanded: This is Calraldia Expanded: Kingdom. Heavy Cavalry: Neighboring Cavalry of the Nobles. Possible features Some possible features of this fashion: XML-tuned compositions; XML-tuned elements of desire; cultural-specific variations. For example, aggressive/defensive compounds; negative desirability for truly alien types of troops; more tests/improvements; patches for other modes of Revision My modes Army compositions Calradia Expanded: Kingdom utility costs.
