About This Mod

This mod aims to add what I call "V-Variant" dinosaurs to the game. These dinosaurs are special variants that consist mainly of red/white/black color palettes and have some cosmetic changes, characteristics and abilities depending on the dinosaur. All V variants have higher health and weight scores and are physically larger.

You must create a V-Kibble using the forge to tame these creatures.

I currently have 6 V-Dinos and plan to add even more overtime.

V-allosaurus:

  • Works a little faster
  • Deals more bleeding damage with Gashing* Maybe I'll do a little more later

V-Chest:

  • Much more
  • You can ride a horse
  • Can jump high and far, takes no damage from falling.
  • Good overland passage.

V-Spiny Dragon:

  • Basic Needle Throw Attack Deals More Damage from Torpor + Glows Red
  • Now has a 2nd needle roll attack that stuns the enemy + glows in blue.
  • A little faster

V-Vulture:

  • Much more
  • Can ride horse + can carry passenger
  • Can only attack in flight
  • Basic Attack Deals Little Damage
  • 2nd Attack deals more damage and slows/Stuns enemies, but is slower to use
  • Attack 2 may collect tainted meat from corpses

Dung Beetle:

  • Much more
  • Faster
  • You can ride a horse
  • Basic attack - normal melee attack
  • Attack 2 deals less damage, but can collect some fertilizer from corpses

V-Limantria:

  • Much more
  • Faster and better maneuvers
  • Mostly did this.. Because it's a giant moth?! Why not, lol

V-Microraptor Macroraptor:

  • More and it is possible to ride
  • Deals Bleeding Damage on 2nd Attack
  • Very low fall damage
  • More Damage

V-Pachy:

  • Larger
  • More damage from the snatch
  • Slightly less head damage than vanilla version
  • Slightly more damage from torpor
  • Can collect Stone and Metal
  • 50% reduction in weight of stone and metal

V-Onyc:

  • More and it is possible to ride
  • Faster, can strafe quickly and fly back
  • More Damage
  • Possesses a Blood Curse similar to the Blood Wyvern ability (to be upgraded later)
