About This Mod

Creature Control Tool

This tool (cannon) comes with a certain set of features designed to make taming, breeding and controlling creatures less painstaking. Just learn an engram, create a 1x tree tool, equip, aim and shoot.

Server Administrators - Use the configuration settings below to disable all one or more modes.


Includes a custom tool model, 7 customizable tool modes, several toggle options and additional features for cryo capsules (equip the cryo capsule, open the circular menu to get a list of cryo capsules in your inventory to choose from and equip).

Use the tool to open the circular menu to display the following mode selections and CMT options:

Modes to select:

  • Reject Mode (single) to perform the necessary sweep after a good breeding session (Target creature should only be culled if you have unclaimed tribe permission on the specified creature), Right-click (Target Console) to set Reject Target, then shoot target for Reject
  • Pairing toggle mode, in which your creatures must start/stop doing nasty things at a distance (the overlay interface will display a "heart" icon on the portrait when pairing is enabled)
  • Follow Toggle mode to tell your creatures to follow you or another creature, right-click (aim on console) to set a target to follow, then shoot another creature to follow a selected target, shoot again to disable follow. Shoot without a goal to keep the creature following you, shoot again to stop following you
  • CryoPog mode for instantaneous cryocapsulation of creatures into empty cryocapsules. (Custom). Compatible with Krio Pelagori.
  • Unclaim mode allows you to shoot at a real target creature to pick it up
  • Rename mode will trigger the rename dialog box if you fire on the correct target
  • Wander Toggle mode to toggle wander on/off (Overlay UI will display a yellow wander symbol when Wander is on.
  • The Copy Settings mode activates 'Copy Settings' on other creatures of the same type when shooting at a target
  • The Castration/Sterilization mode will castrate/sterilize the creatures you own and will log the action in the Tribal Journal (if you are a tribal member).
