About This Mod

Bullets on request Turret filling should be one of the 10 most tedious and boring aspects of Ark. We all asked for some ammunition box to help with the task, but the one we were given never worked as we wanted, and its firing range was so terribly short that sometimes it took several rounds to get the job done. Not to mention that since it was originally released with the Genesis Part 1 card, we are unlikely to see it in the base game until the end of the year or even early 2025!

I have a solution!

My modified ammunition box, the Bullets On Demand, has the same original concept as the Ark Ammo Box, but with a more logical distribution system, much greater range, manual and automatic balancing, and manual and automatic bullet return! What does all this mean?

This mod is not compatible with Stack Mods.

Range

3 different range sizes according to your basic needs. The idea is that you only need one of these boxes on your base. However, the default settings for ammunition boxes allow for up to 10 boxes, including both types of ammunition boxes. The ranges shown below can be fitted to the universal wheel and apply only to turrets. To change the number of boxes in range, as well as the range for ammunition boxes, see the Server Configurations page.

Small: foundation diameter 20

Medium: Base diameter 40

Large: foundation diameter 80

Distribution

The on-demand bullet cartridge box calculates the total number of bullets available, then divides the total number of bullets by the number of activated turrets within range and evenly distributes all bullets at once across all available turrets. It will look for new tokens to add every 20 seconds. The vanilla filled only 10% of the total capacity of the tower every 60 seconds. This means that if you have 3 automatic turrets, each with a capacity of 1400 (14 slots x 100 bullets in each slot).... And you had 300 bullets in the vanilla cartridge box, so he put 140 bullets in the first two, and only 20 bullets in the last. The same scenario, 3 turrets, 300 rounds of ammunition, in a Bullets On Demand box, would result in 100 bullets in each turret.

Rebalancing

Manually: By pressing the button in the inventory of the box with Bullets On Demand cartridges (the option is also available on the multi-charger wheel), the box determines the total number of cartridges, and then finds all available turrets (included), and then rebuilds all the cartridges to all turrets.

Auto: Same functionality as above, but with intervals of 1, 5, 10, 20 and 30 minutes. It is also possible to disable this timer. The default value is 10 minutes.

Bullets return from shattered turret

The automatic call returns only those bullets that have fallen into the death cache from the turret because the turret has been destroyed or picked up. It will then be redistributed 20 seconds after the recall.

Can be disabled in server configurations.

Color options without dyes

Each ammunition box has an option to change the color of the box without using dyes. The Tek Ammo Box has a separate wheel for lights!
