Automatic Dinosaur Wipes

Summary

The Automated Dino Wipes mod presents a complex and customizable system for managing wild dinosaur populations in your game. This is done with server maintenance in mind.

Key Features

  • Selective wiping: The mod is designed to exclude domesticated dinosaurs, dinosaur bosses (tec cave), dormant dinosaurs, and actively tamed dinosaurs, preventing any unintended disruptions to players' progress. (and prevent any use of known wipe charts for cheese bosses/ascension)
  • Scheduled cleanups: Set a specific time for automatic dinosaur cleanups depending on your server needs. This feature allows for regular cleaning of wild dinosaur populations without manual intervention.
  • Broadcast Warnings: When this feature is enabled, the server will send out warnings to all players so that everyone knows about the upcoming dinosaur destruction.

Configuration Settings

  • WipeOnServerStart=False: Specifies whether dino-wipe should run every time the server is started.
  • WipeSchedule= (blank by default): Enter the time for scheduled cleanups in the comma separated list (UTC, hh:mm).
  • BroadcastWarnings=True: Enable or disable broadcast alerts before scheduled cleanup.
  • WipeBeehives=False: Enables or disables wild hive scavenging during scheduled scavenging.
  • WipeNestEggs=False: Enable or disable wiping of wild Wyvern/Stone Drake/Deynon/Magmasaurus eggs during scheduled wiping. (experimental)
  • WipeLengthSeconds=60: The time in seconds it takes to perform the cleanup. 0 - instant, 60 - 1 minute, 600 - 10 minutes. The higher the number, the lower the delay.
  • WipeCaveDinos=False: Enable or disable cleaning of cave dinosaurs during scheduled cleaning.

Configure Cleanup Schedule (UTC)

  1. Set the time to UTC (comma separated, no spaces). For example, to schedule a cleanup at 7:00, 20:30, and midnight CST, set WipeSchedulehh:mmWipeSchedule13:00,2:30,6:00
  • The schedule is flexible, which allows multiple entries at different times of the day.

Manual Erase Trigger

  • Use the command to manually initiate the displacement of the dinosaurs.cheat scriptcommand ADW_BeginWipe
  • In addition, a built-in command can also be used for immediate effect.cheat destroywilddinos
