About This Mod
This is a workaround for NPCs chasing your merchant ships when you don't sell white flags at the beginning of the game. With this mode, all merchant ships (sailboats, clippers, cargo ships, and the "Great East") will be launched (built or generated) with a white flag (Epic quality) in the cargo slot (all you have to do is equip it).
What is a white flag?
A white flag is an item that, when attached to a ship, prevents it from being attacked (as well as attacked). White flags are not sold by neutral merchants at the beginning of the game.
Then why don't you just sleep the ship already equipped?
I don't know why it doesn't work. Also, you cannot prevent NPC ships from attacking.
Due to modding being used in this game, NPC ships are also eligible for modding.
