About This Mod
Tired of the logistics in the Arctic and want to extract gas in a more convenient way? Do you have room for an additional gas mine? Then you need to look further! This mod is added by the gas plant, an industrial enterprise that converts coal into a combustible gas suitable for the production and generation of electricity. Gas plants producing coal gas were the primary means of producing flammable gas in European cities in the 19th century and were widespread throughout the continent until the advent of natural gas in the mid-20th century.
The operation of the gas plant is unique: the basic gas plant produces gas more slowly, but each additional gas meter installed side by side increases productivity, labor, operating costs and the amount of pollution produced.
However, it is clear that there is a trade-off with Arctic gas: pollution and operating costs are higher in more productive plants. Of course, many of the most polluted industrial facilities in the real world are gas plants.
