About This Mod
Add an option to the user interface at the beginning of the game that will allow the user to choose the length of daylight hours from 0 to 24 hours and the options between them. Note: the original mod was called 1 hour of daylight; Doughphunghus added additional options to make this mod a little more affordable.
You can select the following daylight hours (in a vanilla game, by default, you can select only 12, 14, 16, or 18): 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24
0 is "eternal daylight darkness", which looks like twilight/moonlight during normal daylight hours. However, the game is still night-time (for example, zombies run around).
1 is always "infinite daytime darkness" except for one hour of real daylight. If one hour of daylight is selected, "daylight" begins at 9 pm and ends at midnight. This means that the game starts at 7:00 am and there will be no light for the next 14 hours. The sun rises and runs across the sky. There is very little time even to reach the next destination.
(The time between them does not require explanation.)
23 - 23 hours of "endless daylight", 1 am.
24 - "Infinite daylight". We don't even know if a bloody moonswarm has appeared. I didn't check it because I'm not going to play with this option, but I took it with me just in case.
