About This Mod

Add recipes for items without chains.

Currently, this mod only adds recipes for chains. However, if the item is in the game and it doesn't have a recipe, it will allow you to create a recipe - define the recipe in the customrecipes.json file and add different parts. By editing this file, you can also change the amount of resources required for a recipe and the amount you will receive from the recipe.

Help:

If your inventory does not have iron recipes, throw the iron and lift it again. This will add the recipe to the recipe list.

If there is no recipe in the inventory, it will be added. For me, it's more of a QoL mod, because I've run out of chains all the time, and I've never found enough chains in catacombs and marshes.

V1.0.2

Added recipe for Dyrnwyn (flaming sword). The recipe already existed, but was blocked and unavailable. We've added it here so everyone can make it before the official release.

Fixed an issue where coal (or other items with multiple prefabs) could not add a recipe.

v1.0.3

*Backup the current customrecipes.json file.

Significant changes have been made to the way recipe files are stored and accessed. These changes are listed below

The recipes were moved from the plugins folder to the Config/AdditionalRecipes directory. This ensures that they remain in the same location as other configuration files.

Recipe files are now modular. This means that you can share them with other files, and you don’t have to edit json files. Just place the recipe file in the new directory.

The customrecipes.json file is no longer included. Instead, whenever a new recipe (such as chain recipes or dyrnwyn) is added to the mod, a json file is created for that recipe. This file will contain only this recipe.

The third part will create the file chainrecipe.json and dyrnwynrecipe.json. This will be a new naming convention for recipes added by mod.

Also, in the third version, if customrecipes.json is still in the plugins folder, it will be moved to the new folder. After running the mod with version 1.0.3, don't worry if there is no customrecipes.json in the folder.

Because Nexus automatically updates files, it does not make this the current default version. This may change in future releases; as mentioned in #5, this file will be moved to a new directory in the config folder.

I also recommend that you separate the recipes into separate files, following the naming convention described in #4 above. This way you can share a specific recipe with people without having to send one large file. If multiple files contain the same recipe, the mod will process duplicate recipes (in the BepinEx log, you will see "Remote recipe" followed by "Added recipe").
