About This Mod

De-Extinction mode adds 19 new creatures (from small to leviathan), based on the discarded and unused concept art of Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero.

De-Extinction has been ported to version 2.0!

Please upgrade the Nautilus and ECC libraries before installing.


Overview.

De-Extinction mode adds a total of 19 new naturally generated creatures to Subnautica! There are currently 11 small edible creatures, 7 large invincible creatures, and 1 large invincible Leviathan life form.


(This project is not related to the "Architects of the Unknown" or the "Return of the Ancients" fashion.)

You need Nautilus!


If you still have problems with hundreds of duplicate fish (this problem will be solved in version 2.0).


- The easiest solution is to clear the cache, but it is already an excess.

- Instead of emptying the entire CellsCache folder, it is recommended to delete only five or so of the best files: Open CellsCache and sort by size. Generally, files larger than 900 KB should be deleted.

- If you delete the entire Cache folder, you must also delete the StaticCreatures.data file.


NOTES (required to be read).

- In worlds you played before this fashion, most creatures will not be able to appear in places you have already visited (due to spawn mechanics).

- If you don't mind breaking the game a little, you can clear your cash and sleep all the new fish. Please note that in this case all dropped items will be removed!
