Metro: Genesis is an attempt to recreate the apocalyptic world of famous critic Metro 2033 within the framework of Hears of Iron 4.
In 2013, the world is in the midst of a nuclear conflagration. Humanity has been wiped out. Only a handful of survivors took refuge in the underground Moscow metro.
The year is 2028. Fifteen years after the incident, humanity is still on the verge of extinction. They roam the city's train station, being constantly threatened by mutants and humans. The neo-Nazis have regrouped and are consolidating their power on Pushkinskaya Street. The estranged capitalists of Hanza turn their eyes to the neighbors, the socialist bastions of the Red Line, which are now experiencing a political crisis. Meanwhile, in the dark and murky depths of the underground, treacherous forces...
