About This Mod

Esplessscript, which automatically equips the next weapon with which the player interacts from the game world, unless they are armed. Useful when a weapon breaks down in a combat situation and you need to look for a new weapon.


This small script simply automatically equips the next weapon that the player picks up when unarmed.




When a weapon breaks down, it's automatically retired, and I always didn't like having to open the Pip-Boy to pick a new weapon because it disrupts the course of the battle.




If you are unarmed and do not want to pick up a weapon, you can simply hold the Z (default) while interacting with it and it will be added to your inventory as usual.




It is not equipped if the item is added from another player's container or inventory, it is done specially.






To change the key binding, edit the bKeybind script variable using any DirectX scan code.



You can also change the bKeybind mode to change the key binding functionality (for example, you can only equip without a weapon while holding bKeybind).




Install and uninstall using the mod manager of your choice, or add or remove gr_AutoEquipWeap.txt from NVSE > Plugins > Scripts as needed. There are no specific boot order requirements to use this mode.
