About This Mod

A fast and dirty mod made while working on something else just increases the friction multipliers for surfaces that all vehicles use.


It turned out that many skidding sports/supercars/motorcycles (in part) are caused by too much difference in these indices, which leads to a sharp/annoying switch between minimum and maximum clutch. In this case, they accelerate faster, better hold the maximum speed, better pass the turns, and the slide should be easier to control in most situations. As the upper limit of traction increases, more stiff driving is required to cause excessive turning.


Unfortunately, on rough roads such as those with incredibly steep corners, this can lead to wheel breakdowns or even sharper overturning for some vehicles.


.yml includes vanilla values (commented as: #1.2), feel free to make changes and search for what's right for you. Exceeding my limits can cause more problems than good, and the machines simply fly out. FrictionLat = Lateral or lateral clutch. FrictionLong = forward/rearward longitudinal grip.


Lmk, if I miss something, it should affect everything to some extent. Do not edit the use of RedHotTools for hot reloading, these values seem to apply correctly only when the game is completely restarted.


Just unpack it into the game folder. The files must be in the Cyberpunk 2077/r6/tweaks folder.
