About This Mod
This mod replaces several posters (and several ads) in the game with real-world alternatives. They are all made in the style of the 90s/cyberpunk/Japanese theme to match the game.
I didn't expect a sense of nostalgia playing this game, but that's exactly what I got. Growing up in the 90s, listening to NIN and Chemical Brothers and browsing varese sites on a 28.8 bps modem, will do it to you. This mod was originally created as a personal project, because a lot of it is just nostalgia for me, but I decided to release it, because it may appeal to others.
Recommendations:
Many of the posters are displayed in Wie's apartment by default if you use ProximaDust's sweet sweet street kid techie apartment mod. If not, you will see them as they move through the city, scattered here and there.
Installation
Like any other archive file. Extract the file downloaded from this site directly into the Cyberpunk 2077 folder.
The folder structure in the rar file you are downloading is set to be checked out directly to the folder containing the base game Cyberpunk 2077. For example, on my computer, this folder is located here: E:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077
In particular, the mod itself (the name of the file is "World - Nostalgia Posters.archive") should be placed in the following directory: \Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod. If the mod folder does not exist, create it.
To remove mods, simply delete the file "World - Nostalgia Posters.archive" from the mod folder.
