The sky is a scorched forest in all biomes
About This Mod
This mod tries to give the sky the appearance of a biome of wasteland, and all biomes - the same spectrum as the wasteland (which, oddly enough, looks like "burnt_forest", but without the effects of smoke).
Notes
Doughphunghus is not sure that if the effects of the particles are defined in the biome (in some cases this is the case) or they are denser (using mods), it will make the sky or the surrounding lighting "too dark". If so... sorry, but he thinks so, because he doesn't set/redefine/remove particle effects in this fashion yet.
The "scorched forest" spectrum is defined only for the top-level biome(s), and there are other weather spectra that can cancel it, but this usually occurs with fog and rain/rainfall. So far, if precipitation clears the sky slightly, consider it "mud/particles in the sky cleansed by falling water/snow or mist moisture." When the game turns golden, hopefully it will be easier to customize the view of the sky, and the weather and so on is still on the list "for work" by the developers, so the basic XML is likely to change, so it's a little bit uninterested in fine tuning this fashion for the sky+weather until the code/effects/xml weather become stable.
Made at the request of the forum, and it seemed like a cool idea.
Known incompatibilities
When used with the "Doughs-Weather-Core" mod, the sky effect is likely to be overridden by the weather mod settings, as it is usually downloaded after that mod, so to make it "work", you will have to rename the toplevel folder of that mod so that it is in alphabetical order after the "Doughs-Weather-Core". One way to do this is to rename the "Doughs-Ambiance-SkyIsBurntForestInAllBiomes" folder to something like "Doughs-zAmbiance-SkyIsBurntForestInAllBiomes." Although he hopes this will work, he does not plan to try to really "support" downloading both mods, possibly until the game is golden. He hopes that in the future he will always have "all his mods" loaded without conflicts or renaming workarounds, but he wants to wait and see what options/tools/methods will be available after the game is golden and Steam/workshop support is available, etc.
